About the role

The role of Business Development Manager (HVAC-R), will see an autonomous, ambitious sales professional work closely with the National Commercial Manager to drive growth across Australia within the HVAC-R channel.  A key focus will be on identifying and working with new construction projects while forming new commercial partnerships.  While continued account management is imperative, this role is all about growth and new business, presenting an outstanding opportunity for the right applicant to make their mark, leveraging Trafalgar Fires extensive passive fire protection range of systems.


This role is to be based from our headquarters in Granville, Sydney, however, will be heavily field focused.


Responsibilities of the role holder include, but are not limited to:

Strong sales negotiation and account management skills
Proven track record in delivering new business growth
Excellent accountability and self-management
High-level competency with computers including with presentation, spreadsheet and database software
Excellent skills in preparing timely and accurate reports
Good written and oral communication skills
Ability to develop and maintain productive working relationships

Qualification Requirements

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a technical sales role preferably in the building products industry
Desirable will be existing relationships and network across the HVAC-R channel.
